Manchester United v Arsenal

Things Arsene Wenger doesn’t normally do well at include, playing against Jose Mourinho teams and playing at Old Trafford. When you add in the fact Wenger will be sweating on the fitness of Alexis Sanchez the obvious conclusion would be a easy home win. However, with Mourinho’s United team still struggling to find their best form, this is a tough game to call. What we are prepared to make a call on though is that Paul Pogba’s form has been improving of late and with recent goals for United and France we’re backing him to get his Dab on at Old Trafford come Saturday lunchtime.

Pogba score anytime – 11/4

Everton v Sunderland

Koeman looked like he was ready to rip his team a new one in his pre match interview after the hammering his side took in the Chelsea game. Swansea were abject against United last time out and its hard to see anything but a comfortable home win here.

Everton half time/full time 11/8

Crystal Palace v Man City

Where Citeh go the goals usually flow, and with Palace leaking goals you’d have to expect a high scoring affair at Selhurst Park with Aguero , De Bruyne and co. filling their boots. As well as City scoring though, Palace have excellent pace on the wings to hit City on the counter and if Palace get the ball into the box to Benteke often enough chances are City’s Fragile defence will be vulnerable.

Over 3.5 goals 8/5

Sunderland v Hull

This is an early season 6 pointer at the Stadium of Light. Both teams had unexpected wins just before the international break. Sunderlands Duncan Watmore reminds us of a young Dirk Kuyt in many ways, a managers dream who will run all day, is woefully short on technical ability and has the kind of face only a mother could love. Watmore scored an absolute peach for England U21’s midweek which will have filled the little trier full of confidence/beans and we think he looks good value to score anytime here.

Watmore score anytime 3/1

Watford v Leicester

A battle of two old school Italian coaches here at Vicarage Road. Both teams will have gone back to basics this week after disappointing results last time out with Watford suffering a 6-1 hammering at Anfield and Leicester losing at home to West Brom. Back to basics for 2 old school Italian coaches will probably result in both teams putting the emphasis on not losing. As Paul Merson would say, Desmond for me Jeff!!

Result : 1-1 , 11/2

Southampton v Liverpool

Klopp will be cursing Lallana’s midweek injury but he will be confident of getting a result if the little magician Phillipe Couthinho can keep up his sparkling early season form. Liverpool are still shaky at the back and in Charlie Austin they have the highest scoring English Striker in the Premier League. Austin has found the net more times this season then all of Englands current Strikers Sturridge, Vardy, Kane and Rooney combined so he’ll probably be reeling about his latest international snub. We’re backing him to ht the onion bag here.

Austin score anytime 2/1

Stoke v Bournemouth

Stoke are in good form of late and the Cherries seem to have taken their foot of the pedal a little with two losses on the trot. Both sides create a lot going forward and look suspect at the back so we’re going for goals here over 2.5 to be exact.

Over 2.5 goals – 5/6

Spurs v West Ham

Normally if your unbeaten after 11 games you’d expect to be top of the league, but Spurs just haven’t scored enough goals to turn draws into wins and with their defensive solidity seems to have been compromised a bit since the injury to Toby Alderwerald. You’d still fancy them to have enough at home to beat the Hammers here with Harry Kane coming back to fitness. West Ham do have the players in Payet and Lanzini to score here however, so Spurs win with both team scoring for us.

Spurs win and both teams score – 11/5

Middlesborough v Chelsea

Chelsea have looked unstoppable lately as we wrote here. The trip to Teeside will be far from easy however with Middlesborough proving against Man City and Arsenal that they are adept at picking up points against the League big hitters. A hard fought Chelsea win.

Chelsea win to nil 7/5

West Brom v Burnley

Let’s be honest this is a typical early season MNF, with Sky trying to get there contractual agreements to show a percentage of each teams games over and done with early season so they can show the games later on in the season that will have greater viewer pulling power. A festival of samba football this will not be. We’re backing Pulis to do what Pulis does best and grind out a scrappy 1-0 win.

West Brom 1-0 – 11/2
