Real Madrid Step Up Interest In Spurs Star

Real Madrid have identified Tottenham’s start striker Harry Kane as their top transfer target as they look to replace French frontman Karim Benzima, according to reports in Diaro Gol

Benzima, who at one stage was a part of the undroppable BBC, (Benzema, Bale and Cristiano), has struggled for form this season, scoring just once so far this term. In truth Zidane and the Real hierarchy will be considering the futures of all three of those stars come the summer.

Bale seems surplus to requirements with recurring injuries and the rise of Isco and Marco Asensio while Cristiano Ronaldo has had his worst ever start to a league campaign, netting just once in seven games.

Harry Kane on the other hand has been in fine form. He has 13 goals in 14 games for the North London side including a very impressive five in the Champions League and at 24-years-old is considerably younger than any of Real’s current striking options.

The last time Real came calling for a Spurs superstar they ended up smashing the world transfer fee record and one would imagine that they will have to break the bank again if they want to prise the England striker away from White Hart Lane.

Should the Spanish giants fail to land Harry Kane then they may look to sign Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski or Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
